Final Extension of Registration Deadline & Important Updates

The Dinu Lipatti International Piano Competition announces a final extension of the registration deadline until 30 August 2026.
Following a decision of the Competition Jury, the Organizing Committee has decided that, for this edition, the Online Preselection Round will be waived.
All candidates who have already registered, as well as those who complete their registration by 30 August 2026, will proceed directly to the First Round of the Competition, subject to the verification of their application.
The Competition Regulations remain unchanged, with the exception of the above-mentioned modification concerning the Online Preselection Round.

Compulsory work by Dinu Lipatti

We would also like to announce that the compulsory work by Dinu Lipatti may be performed with the score. Memorization is not required, and candidates may choose to perform the work either from memory or with the score.
We warmly invite pianists who have not yet completed their registration to take advantage of this final extension and join us in Craiova for the 2026 edition of the Dinu Lipatti International Piano Competition.
